oh noo sorry i meant June 2024* so it’s been just like 5 months. We are from same group of friends so we would hang out a lot on weekends but still he never asked me out individually!!! which made me super angry. I think his self esteem with me suffers and I find him a bit shy with me. The very last night before flying out he came in front of my house to say bye and it was so romantic. We talked a lot that night and I understood he cares about me, he was a bit nervous I expected finally he will kiss me, but actually never made a move on me. If he wanted he could, he could just use me for physical enjoyment but no never… He is weird I dont understand him. I think he finds me out of his ligue. I am a model I travel a lot I live celebrity lifestyle, always events parties etc.. Obviously I am surrounded by good quality people and there are always men hitting on me. I think he understands who I am and doesnt even try to get with me what do u think?

Well to be fair you've been texting him for 5 months and haven't progressed anything either. I'm not really surprised that he is losing interest in ping ponging texts because it's not really going anywhere.

yeah it’s not but why is this my fault it is expected from man to show interest and initiate a date. I’m giving him signals and showing him im interested now it’s his time to take a lead easy as that

Some people get burnt out with ongoing texting. If I text someone the whole day.. I don't need to text them the next day or hear from them- even if I'm interested in the person.
If he hasn't asked you on a date BY NOW, he's not interested. And you need a hobby, or be more busy, counting down the minutes, hours and seconds of when he texts you isn't healthy. It's just making your head overthink.

Sorry for the necrobump, but I think if he's nervous he may well want to ask the OP on a date but is too scared to do so. The OP really needs to put her pride aside and ask him out if she wants him.

Alright so *UPDATE HERE*
I know what’s wrong. Since you guys know I travel due to my job I leave my city for 2-4months come back for a while and leave again.. He likes me, he really does like me but will not make a move by asking me out because he is scared. My bestfriend had a talk with him (They are very close and know each other since 5years old) So my crush told him he is scared because I will leave again. I understand long distance is hard, but we can figure it out. We can talk about it. If i see he likes me he wants me I’m willing to change my working schedule by coming back home more often.. I’d do anything to be with him.. 2 days ago we were invited to a house party later we watched movie with friends when they left we cuddled and fell asleep together. We were talking till morning. It was so cute and I wish we’d be this close more often. I don’t know what to do.. I asked my best friend so listen.. since he is scared should I ask him out?? he said no it’s better to wait for him just wait if he wants he wants… I am so desperate I just want to cry
