I need help

Good morning,
My daughter is doing Triology, which comprises chemistry, physics and biology, and maths, English, art ,RE, and history in her GSEC. I want to know the possible courses she can do with these subjects.

Thank you.
Hi there,

I would encourage her to simply choose what she enjoys and is good at for A Levels, and also some new subjects which might not be offered at GCSE but she thinks she might enjoy - Computer Science, Further Maths, Economics, Psychology, Sociology? However, if she has some ideas about what course she might want to study at uni if she wishes to go, then it might be wise to google that course and check its entry requirements as some courses specify certain subject requirements, particularly STEM subjects. For example, here at Bath to do Biomedical Science you need both Chemistry and Biology, and to do Computer Science you need to have maths. For Architecture we like to see people with Art and Maths. Not all courses will specify subjects but its worth checking if she already has uni ideas!

I hope this helps 🙂 best of luck

Hello,
That is a great selection of courses that she is currently studying. The best things to consider when choosing is which are her strongest topics as well as which interest her the most. Perhaps she can find a course that combines some of her favourite topics such as art history or cosmetic science. As a creative arts university, we offer a vast range of creative courses including design, writing and coding, which can be found on our website. We wish her all the best with her studies!
