I am wondering which uni is better for studying animation.

We do offer BA (Hons) Animation Degree Course - Cardiff Metropolitan University. You will be supervised by a multi-BAFTA award winning team of academics. During your studies, you can extend your experience at Cardiff Met beyond the animation modules including the art of scriptwriting, collaborating with skilled voice actors and puppeteers, and the excitement of real-world projects and competitive challenges, working with organisations such as NHS and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama.

Cardiff Met is located in Llandaff, Cardiff. We are very close to the city centre as well as the student accommodation. We also surrounded by many local pubs, bars and restaurants which you can walk to.

It's great to hear that you're interested in studying at Man Met!

Our BA (Hons) Animation course is located within the School of Digital Art (SODA) where you'll be encouraged to innovate through interdisciplinary study and collaboration to become a highly creative and employable professional to allow you to compete successfully in this rapidly growing field. You will have access to professional creative studios containing industry standard software, hardware and making facilities supporting 2D hand-drawn and rigged, 3D and stop motion techniques. All students will be offered the opportunity to try each of these, prior to specialising.

We recommend coming along to our next open day on 23rd November to find out more about the course, look at our facilities and talk to ambassadors to see if Man Met is the right place for you🙂
