KCL English Law and Australian Law LLB and JD

Has anyone been accepted to this course? Do you know how many students they accept and if it is more or less competitive than the normal Law degree at KCL?

Sorry this is a bit late but from what I was told by KCL and their faculty is that this course is starting for its first time this year. They have around like 20 spots or smth but I have no idea how competitive or how many ppl applied, etc. Did u end up applying?

Yes have applied but LNAT is only 23 so not hopeful. Have offers from Durham and Exeter so maybe essay was better than MC section, although I don’t think KCL consider essays. Who knows.

Hi,
I am also interested in applying for this course next year but I have no idea how to include my interest in studying Australian law in my personal statement. Do you have any suggestions?

i’m also thinking of applying, but its mostly because i have a particular interest in international law. if you find a sector you are interested in, look further and see how australian law deals with it, look into scholars and such

Born in NZ and raised as expat in Dubai so spoke about being a Third Culture Kid and the differences between legal systems in both regions.

No I don’t think so. The Melbourne JD covers Australian and lots of Asian law and KCL LLB covers UK and European law so it’s just a very international course.

23 LNAT but I think essay was very strong. A*AA predicted and A for EPQ although they don’t care about that.
