cam interview

im an econ applicant to st catz this year, and im wondering if anyone could help me understand what the layout of the econ interview at st catz roughly looks like?

btw i have never studied econ/dont do A level before so im not sure what they could really ask me, is it likely to be heavily based off of my PS?
thank you!
I'm applying for Oxford's psychology program this year, so I’m not entirely sure what the Cambridge economics interview is like. Generally, candidates get one or two broader questions, like “Why Cambridge?/Why economics?” Some candidates may encounter questions related to their ps, though I don’t think that’s the main focus. I’ve heard the interview is roughly 50% math—things like probability and graph sketching—and 50% economics

Someone I know applied to econ last year and got in, so this is his experience, not mine. He had two interviews.

The first one focussed on an extract about economics and he was told to read it in the interview (so it wasn't given out before as pre-reading) and discuss it with the tutors. The second one was all maths. He didn't get asked anything about his personal statement or the A level (he did econ).

Of course interviews are very different for each person/college, but hope this is helpful. Best of luck.
