Imperial Civil Engineering Video Submission 2025 entry

I wasn't able to attend the Imperial Insight Session on Nov 6th so if anyone could let me know what was said and what information was given out, that would be great 👍.
There was someone who explained what they do in their phd research at Imperial. Then there was a talk about a civil engineering society which you automatically become a member of if you join Imperial for Civil Engineering. For the video submission, they said that they will ask questions surrounding motivation for civil engineering, experiences and reasoning skills. i think that they also mentioned that there would be a maths/physics question which they dont expect you to get the answer to (although it would be good if you did get it) but they wanted to see how you went through the question.

Was it academic questions , or just generic for example did you have to write anything down on the screen or just talk through the answers.

It was about 3-4 generic questions and one academic. The topics of the questions should be listed in an email from Imperial. It was mostly talking and there was no writing on the screen, but you could keep a notepad and pen with you to draw diagrams etc. if you would like.

When should we expect the invitation to come for the insight session/interview in february?
Do you think they will give more priority to the ESAT exam? Eg: if somebody does well in the ESAT but ****s up the submission is more priority given to the ESAT result
How long did you have to respond to each question in the video interview?
