Which uni do i pick

Hi, i have applied to 5 unis for the 2025 entry for Psychology with education and my predicted grades are AAB. i have received all offers from loughborough, warwick, york, bournemouth and lincoln. i’m really not sure which uni to pick, i’ve been to all open days and liked them all tbh, any advice which one others would pick?
Don't pick yet.

You have months to choose and you would more than likely change your mind. Given that you can't go back once a 14 day period has passed, you want to really know you are sure when you do pick.

Look carefully at all years of each course - what optional units are there and which would you choose if you went there.

Do any of these courses have a placement, or study abroad - this adds heaps to your graduate CV.

As above, this is not a race. There is no advantage in picking your F&I choices now - and everything to gain by waiting. Many Unis have extra visits for Offer holders, and its worth going back for a second look on an ordinary day without all the razzamatazz of an Open Day.

Loughborough, Warwick and York are obviously the stronger by brand name. Have a look at the course content; see if there are differences in the topics to be studied and see which course content you fancy more. Different unis will have different specialities e.g. Child psychology, Sports psychology, Forensic psychology etc

Hey there 🤗

Congratulations 🥳 It looks impressive!

If you’ve already visited each university, I’d suggest narrowing down your choices by thinking about what matters most to you in your student experience. For me, career support was key. I wanted to build a strong CV and develop valuable skills alongside my studies. That’s why I chose De Montfort University (DMU), as they offer placements, internship programmess, volunteering opportunities, global trips, networking events, training sessions, and much more. If something else is more important to you - maybe an exciting nightlife - research which city best matches your priorities. This will definitely help you find the right fit!

I hope it was helpful 💪 Feel free to reach out if you have any questions 😉 You can also chat with me or other students directly through The Ambassador Platform.

Take care,

Hi there @markedbymegan , well done on getting offers for your chosen unis 🙂 Here are some factors and questions to consider when choosing between unis:
Location: Where is the Uni located at? Will you be commuting or staying in Halls? Is there a good social life or things to do outside of campus?
Student Services and facilities: What kind of student support services does each uni have? (eg. well being, careers and employability)
Teaching and modules: Are there any differences in the teaching style or academic calendar? Is there a placement programme or university connections into industry?
I wish you all the best in your university journey and I hope this helps 🙂
