Accounting and finance university

Hi everyone, yesterday my official application was sent (7th November 2024) and I just received an offer a day after for university of Southampton for accounting and finance. But my problem is idk if I should reject that offer and go to city university of London to do accounting and finance. I know Southampton is Russel group but City is ranked better for the course and it’s closer to home. I don’t know if I should substitute one of my options: reading, Nottingham, Southampton, QMUL , Birmingham for City. The likelihood of me getting into nottingham is almost zero. Also my predictions are AAA and my offer from Southampton is BBB (contextual with EPQ without it it’s AAB) and City requires AAA. I don’t want to substitute City for QMUL but i don’t mind for other universities. Please leave suggestion if I should or should not change one of my options.

Why don't you think you would get an offer from Nottingham? Given your predictions I'd have thought you would have a very good chance.

Because it’s a degree apprenticeship for pwc and I heard the acceptance rate is as competitive as medicine ☹️ furthermore although maths isn’t required I didn’t take it so they mighhhhhhtttt prefer maths students though it’s not guaranteed.

Check whether they would transfer your application to the standard Nottingham course if you don't get onto the Flying Start degree. I think the universities often do this but worth finding out.
