C in Chemistry Predicted- Should I apply for Pharmacy?

I'm in year 13 right now and my predicted grades are A for EPQ, A* for RE, A for biology and C in chemistry. These predicted grades are from year 12 mocks in May, back then I really struggled with chemistry and wasn't in the mindset, but in recent exams I got a B, but they still won't change my predicted grade. I've talked to many teachers and they are all firm in not changing my grade. I want to do Pharmacy and go to a good Uni like Kings or UCL but now I feel like I have failed and can't apply anywhere. I don't know if I should continue applying to pharmacy or if should do something else. Could I get into Clearing? I feel so lost right now and I have no idea where to apply or what I should do.
Which uni you go to doesn't matter for pharmacy, just that it's an appropriately accredited MPharm course.

UCL does not routinely use clearing (they only entered the main clearing process for the first time this year and pharmacy was not among the courses that entered - it was primarily humanities and language courses). I doubt pharmacy at KCL would be in clearing either.

I would suggest focusing on pharmacy courses that fit your predicted grades, since ultimately for becoming a pharmacist your uni doesn't matter as above, it's just a tick box that you have the appropriate degree.
A pharmacy degree is standard regardless of where you study since the professional pharmacy body has to audit and approve every pharmacy degree offering - bit like medicine or dentistry. So it really does not matter where you study pharmacy.

Its only offered as a masters at UCL & Kings College so the A level requirements will naturally be higher - AAB. Unfortunately its unlikely that you will get an offer.

All qualifying Pharmacy courses are 4-year MPharm courses.
There are no 3-year courses.

As above, there is no extra value in going to KCL etc for MPharm.
Yes, a grade C in Chem does restrict your choices, so think about not applying for Uni this year - instead work your socks off to get the best possible grades you can without all the distraction of 'Uni' etc, and then apply in a gap year with achieved grades. You could also use the gap year to get more relevant experience, work in a Pharmacy etc - never a waste of time.

You should definitely still apply for pharmacy. Don’t let a teachers opinion triumph what you know you are capable of because opinions are not facts. This is how I felt when I was in sixth form 2 years ago and now I’m studying pharmacy. So yeah still apply to other unis and on results day you can definitely go through clearing if you want

It’s not only offered as a masters in those universities! There’s other unis like keele university in fact, most unis if not all offer it as a masters. It used to be a three year degree now it’s 4 years as an integrated masters

My only caution about 'you can always go through Clearing' is that Clearing applicants are always at the back of the queue for accommodation, and at many competitive Unis that means 'no accommodation'.

You will definitely be able to get in through clearing. Thats what I did and I didn't even do chemistry at A level
