Cost of living loan in France?

Hi! I would love to study Filmmaking at uni in France, but my worry is living costs. In the UK, I can get a maintenance loan based on my parents’ income that would cover some of my rent, food, bills, etc. Is there something like that in France?

When I’ve looked, all that’s come up is Student Loans, which don’t cover living costs and accommodation (which I would need moving from the UK to France). My household can’t fund my living costs, so if I can’t get a loan for living costs then France is off the table.

Is this a thing in France? Can I get some money to cover my living costs whilst at uni? And if so, how can I apply for that and are there criteria I have to meet?

Basically you'd need to be French or normally reside there.

We're the same, people cant just hop here from France and ask for the same student loans/bursaries that UK nationals get, there will almost certainly be some other cross border funding schemes or scholarships, but it would need specifically researched.
