Cosmetic science degree apprenticeships

Hi! I am a year 13 student, currently studying A level biology, chemistry and Spanish. I am undecided on whether to go to UAL to study cosmetic science or whether to do a degree apprenticeship. I am finding it really difficult to find any related to cosmetic science. I am located in the north west, but if necessary I am prepared to travel further than the north west. If anyone knows of any vacancies please let me know. Thank you 😊

yes id say so its a pretty small field so its pretty easy to network. i’m in first year and older years have said that its good to do the year in industry as experience would help our job applications. there are many different things you could do after like working in pdl ur own business legislation etc overall i’m enjoying it so far but i am only in first year. the people i’ve talked to in the older years seem satisfied. why do you want to do the course?

Omg that’s so cool, I really want to study at UAL too next year for cosmetic science. Would you say there’s a lot of lectures? I’m also curious about the size of the class

at the beginning there were more days in uni max 4 now it’s around three we have 2-3 lectures a day and labs on tuesdays my year has about 28 people. i wouldn’t say it’s too much for first year

How are facilities in the lab? I was wondering cus UAL isn’t really known for cosmetic science, also thanks for replying 🙂 you have been really helpful!

Reply 13

Like applying for med and such, would you have to go through all of that process? Sorry I’m not too sure about med courses, although my parents want me to do it. So if there’s a way to do med after this course, it would help me convince them to let me take cosmetic science yk? Sorry I’m not great at explaining things haha
