Six form applicant within year 11

hey there!
i am currently applying to six forms within london
these are :
- woodhouse
- michaela
- st michaels
- lae stratford

i want to study bio chem and maths

what predicted grades would make me have a good chance at having a successful application to these six forms?
in paticular LAES and Michaela.
LAES will require me to travel an hour a day, is it worth it?

thank you

Think about LAES travel. It could be cutting off of valuable revision time also, which is needed in sixth forms. However, you could start with revising when travelling.
I've heard Michaela is very strict!
To be honest, meeting the minimum requirements should be fine, and straight 7s should be enough
Good Luck!

yes i’ve heard that michaela is very strict but honestly that doesn’t concern me that much.
i found their support on oxbridge applicants amazing, and the application to medicine really promising!
are you sure 7s will be enough because i’ve heard you need majority 9s..

Medicine is very competitive. A 7 is for application to college, but for a medicine degree, you should aim for a 9 in biology and a 9 in chemistry - a 9 also secures a good foundation at A-Level; just try your best and it will work out!
All the best - !
