Economics and Geography (BA) leeds

I’ve got a confirmed place to study economics and geography at Leeds in sep 2025. Will I struggle with the maths in economics as I didn’t do maths at a level? (I did get a 7 at gcse).

hey, do you know how many people will approximately be in this course - looking to switch degrees and wondering how big the cohort might be considering its a joint degree. Ive heard people say they only let 20 ppl in for this degree but not sure if this is true. x

I currently study BSc Economics at the University of Leeds without A-Level maths & I have a GCSE 7 in maths. As a 2nd year student, I can say you will be fine as long as you put in the work 🙂 The department does a good job getting you back to speed with the extra mathematics module created for students joining without A-Level maths.
