GCSE grades and predicted grades for US unis

Hi, I’m in year 12, I was wondering what sort of GCSE grades Ivy League universities (and MIT) require. I have an APS of 7.3 (which I don’t think is good enough) but, for the courses I want to apply for I got 9s and 8s. If I have a strong set of extracurriculars and am predicted all A*s , will I be able to get in? Also, do US unis take into account predicted grades, because they aren’t actual confirmed grades. If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated as I’m stressing a lot rn.

as a y13 student who is applying for JHU ED & top 50-100 public schools in US and take IGCSE & IB diploma (inter) - the schools will take into an account your final GCSEs and your y12 predicted grades, with an emphasis on your end of y12 grades.
as for extra curriculars - selling yourself is the biggest thing - you want to come across as "wow, this kid is dedicated to their interest" - NEVER LIE ON YOUR ECAs HOURS. THEY WILL KNOW. THEY WILL. (i fear it's quite late to start good ECs, since i think you really should put forth on your academic if you wish to attend MIT)
OH, and take the SAT. NOW. MIT REQUIRES SAT.
you're only allowed 10 activities anyways - pick the ones that actually stands out not some 1 hour charity work you did once on a sunday morning.

Wow this was extremely insightful, and there’s some weight that’s now been lifted off my shoulders, so I think I’ll try to get really good in the end of years, and icl my extracurriculars are looking kind of stacked (hopefully they’ll be enough), if I could ask, what were ur extracurriculars and grades like. Good luck on getting in, I’ve heard JHU is a really good uni.

Do you know how they will confirm your community hours? Because I've been volunteering most weeks for ~2 hours since year 9 (bc of dofe then just carried on) and I'm worried they won't acc believe me
