~ Applying for Pharmacy at university ~

Hi everyone!

I'm currently in year 13 and will soon be applying for university. I have decided to study pharmacy, and my chosen universities are Birmingham, Nottingham, Manchester, Bath, and King's College. My predictions are A*, A, B. My only concern, however, is that most medicine and dentistry students who applied in September chose pharmacy as their non-medicine course for their fifth university. I'm worried that if I submit my application in January all the spaces will be filled up.

Hi, I have applied to study pharmacy but I am not an initial medical applicant, my 5 chosen courses are pharmacy. Don't stress, you have good predictions, and some if not the most pharmacy schools do not prefer personal statements to be about other courses, and especially if pharmacy is a "back up choice''. I mean some people who apply to medicine do get pharmacy interviews but that is only a tiny proportion I believe. If you are still stressed, apply soon as some universities have started the interviews. hope this helped 🙏

Hi, Where are you applying too? I am thinking of Reading, Kingston, Nottingham, Kings and UCL.
