Passion: Choose subjects you already have a passion for, then you will be certain you will enjoy studying them further. Even though at the time I didn't pick my Geography A-level because I wanted to use it for my career, it led me towards an interest in a business degree because of studying globalisation. Also the benefit of picking a subject you already love is you will be dedicating the majority of your time towards it for the next couple years.
•
Career goals: If you have a general idea of the career your aiming for then I recommend researching the appropriate A-levels to take to push you in the right direction. If you have no idea what career you want, that's fine! A lot of people don't, so I recommend referring back to my first point.
•
Degree requirements: If your planning to go to university and have an idea of the course you want to study, I recommend looking at the A-level requirements to ensure your going to meet the criteria.
