UCAS 2025 Law

Hi everyone i am predicted AAB but i am eligible for contextual for some uni's but only by one category- the home postcode (except Newcastle) will this affect my chances of receiving the contextual offer since law is also highly competitive.
I'm planning to apply for:
Nottingham- contextual is LIKELY AAB
Exeter- contextual IS ABB
King's- Contextual is LIKELY AAB
Newcastle- Im eligible for the PARTNER's programme- BBB/BBC
+ i cannot decide picking Royal Holloway as a 'safer' option or york as a challenge because i really wanted to go there (contextual is likely AAB), even though i am eligible for contextual I am worried i wont get it since i only fit into 1 of the categories needed.
My GSCES were decent - 9877777666 and my personal statement is very good according to my university access school team.
Please let me know what i should do.

Nottingham is the best Law university from the lot unless you insist on studying in London then it's Kings.

I think they will still give you a contextual offer even if it is only one category. Hope this helps

My application was sent off near the end of October and I have heard back from Reading (safety), Exeter, and Bristol - has anyone heard from York or Leeds for the LLB Law courses yet?

Newcastle will only be worth it surely if you plan on firming it, otherwise it will just be AAA and the partners offer will not count so maybe put royal Holloway and York instead

yeah so basically I’m also eligible for the partners programme but I decided not to apply for Newcastle as to benefit from the reduced offer you have to make Newcastle your firm choice and attend the summer school, otherwise the offer will just be AAA

I think the point of it is to encourage more people to go to Newcastle tbh that’s why they want you to firm it otherwise loads of ppl will apply and put it as an insurance

And I’m waiting for a response from Bristol
And I’m waiting for a response from Bristol

for me, it was a week after my LNAT, but it was a deferral to another course, but I haven't heard about anyone hearing offers from Bristol LLB yet - also how long did it take you to hear back from york (and ABB congrats!!! im praying a uni will give me a lower offer than AAA)

congrats! im still waiting on york, what where your predicted grades? and when did you apply?

Bristol just emailed me putting my application on hold (scared) but I heard back from York about a week ago and my predicted grades were AAAA I applied in the beggining of November
York are taking forever with my application as i applied in mid october and they still have not gotten back- also being put on hold is a good thing, it means they like you but just want to wait to see if there is anyone with similar grades (they compare PSs and decide through that)

Do u think my LNAT will play a large role in this as well?
