Long-lasting stationery?

I need some pens that actually last a good amount of time and also write nice. Oh also not too pricey as well??

I've been writing with fountain pens for a few years now, i recommend looking at cultpens.com/buying through them. theyre based in devon and have a massive range of stationery. minimum spend for free shipping seems to have slipped up slightly and they don't put Love Hearts sweets in your packaging any more but still exceptional service. here i would recommend the platinum prefounte which costs £10 but i realised the platinum converter to let you use your own ink costs about the same amount as the pen and otherwise you'd be shilling out for specialised cartridges. however when you combine it with a 30ml bottle of Diamine ink for £2.80 it comes out to about £24 for a very good writing experience, according to the friend I got it for.
on the other hand, you could get one of the £18 lamy al-stars. You can pay £5 for converter and the extra for the ink of course, making it come out to just under £26, but lamy cartridges are sold fairly cheaply in basically every stationer (however I do recommend getting your own ink because you save far more money in the long run; I have an 80ml Diamine 'writer's blood' bottle that is only half empty after nearly 2 years and many intense revision sessions). altogether you can also get a similar price to the lamy with a kaweco perkeo and a converter, and though ive heard good things about kaweco, I can't personally vouch like i can for lamy.

sorry for the long response, just quite passionate about fountain pens 🙂 basically if you do end up getting a refillable fountain pen, and ive had some good ones that weren't (that i sadly can't remember the names of), make the extra upfront investment for ink and a converter and you'll save in the long run

hi i do love pens from japan. if u live in asia, you cld use taobao and buy it at a good price. I personally use pilot juice pens. theyre good quality and u can just buy refills. if u want one thats also quite juicy as a pen 🙂 try sarasa they dont smudge (they dry quickly) and u can also buy refills. these r gel pens.
