Dormatary choosing

Hello, I’m an undergraduate student who will be going on an exchange to the University of Nottingham next semester. I’m currently filling out the dorm application form. Since I will only stay for one semester, I have few options to choose. I’m now considering of these two options:
- Raleigh Park - Standard
- Southwell Hall - Ensuite
I’d like to have a private bathroom, so I currently prefer Southwell Hall. However, I read some reviews online that don’t seem very positive, and the university website mentions that the kitchen is shared with up to 12 people, which doesn’t sound ideal. Could anyone who has actually stayed at Southwell Hall share their experience and tell me about the kitchen situation? (With pictures would be more helpful!) Or, if anyone could give me some advice on which option to choose?
