Is Chemical Engineering a good career to consider for my undergrad?

I need to decide for my undergrad course and I am considering Chemical Engineering although I dont have Maths at A Level so will have to go through Foundation Year. I am just wondering if this is a good career and have good job prospect? Also, what is the reputation of University of Birmingham for Chemical Engineering? Thanks.

Hi @asifvet

Chemical Engineering can be a great career choice with strong job prospects, as it opens doors in diverse industries like pharmaceuticals, energy, food, and environmental sectors. Chemical engineers are often in demand due to their expertise in processes that involve chemistry, physics, and engineering principles, and they tend to enjoy competitive salaries.
Going through a foundation year can set you up well for success by giving you the maths background needed for the degree, so if you’re interested in the field, you should pursue it.
