Colleges URGENT enquiry!!

Hi!

I’ve completed my year 11 mock exams and I haven’t done very well.
The colleges which I wish to go to all ask for high grades.

I have an excellent record of extracurriculars.

Is it possible that I send the college an email with my PS attached and ask them if they can look at my mock exam results which will take place in Feb/March instead?

Any help would be highly highly appreciated. Thank you.

The deadline for submitting the college application is stated to be by Feb on their website though.

You should apply by the deadline but you could tell them you will have more up to date mock results to share with them after the feb/march exams and you are confident you have a plan in place to ensure they will improve.

Thank you so much for your response. It really means a lot.
So do you think that I should send an email to admissions with my PS attached first?
And in the same email write down that I’m interested in their college, the grades I’ve achieved are not what I was hoping for. However, I’m confident and determined to make sure that they improve.

And, I’ll also add that I’ve got mocks coming up in Feb/March and it would mean a lot if they could consider those grades.

Does the above sound good?
Do I ask them whether I should complete the application or say that I will complete it shortly and send it to them?

Apologies for asking so many questions and throwing so much info at once! It’s just that I haven’t asked anyone else and you’re the only person who kindly replied )) thank you so so so much!!! It’s HIGHLY APPRECIATED:smile:))))))

Also, the colleges entry requirements are grades 8-9s for chosen subject.

Like I mentioned above though, I’ve got a really strong record of extra curricular and interests in my chosen subjects…

That sounds like a good approach. If they have such high entry requirements I assume it is because they can fill their places with lots of good candidates. You could ask whether to delay your application and see what they say. Personally, I might tell them I will be applying with my current mock results and will send my improved score as soon as I have them,
