Maths is about understanding the logic, it is a logical subject, this comes into some grade 7/8/9 questions where that wil ask you to prove something (like a cirlce theorem)
•
Like zenmog said, you can revise, but it's actually applying the knowledge that gets you the higher grades
•
You can use websites like PMT, Maths Geinie, MME, Edexcel.
•
There are some things in maths that you will have to remember, like circle theorms, venn diagram symbols, sin and cos exact values.
•
Drawing diagrams can make complex problems easier to understand
•
Do questions by grade/topics where you struggle the most. Personally, I never knew what topics I was bad at so I did questions by their grade and worked my way up.
•
Exam technique for worded problems, for example, 'compare the distrubution of A and B'. This type of question comes up all the time.
•
Nailing the paragraph structure. In my school we use PSS/PAC or PBLT
•
LOL - lots of links. You must link the case study in your answer or you won't get full marks.
•
Practice using case studies since many exam questions are based on them.
•
There's lots of exam technique in business. The papers follow a cetain structure.
