D100, veterinary medicine application interviews

Hello, I just wanted to see if anyone has heard anything about interviews from any universities offering vet med yet. I’ve applied to UCLan, Lancashire, Liverpool and SRUC and am yet to hear anything.

People have been posting here about interviews & offers: Applications 2025 thread

I have applied to Liverpool and Nottingham and haven't heard from them yet.
But I already had an interview at Surrey.

Don't worry.
As they say, 'no news is good news.' From what I understand, they send out invitations in batches.
Good Luck!! It's early days!🍀

I have mixed feelings about my interview. After reflecting on the questions, I don’t think my delivery was as strong as it could have been. While there aren’t necessarily 'right' or 'wrong' answers, the way you structure your response is important.

Same here!! I feel like my answers were not organized enough for the interviewer, especially when elaborating on questions that I couldn't think of many points to talk about.
Does anyone have advice for how to stay more organized/structure responses to ensure clarity in delivery?
Thank you!! 🙂

For structure, I think approaching it as you would a written question:

Introduction: Summarise the situation briefly.

Main Points: Present 2-3 key points you want to make (either supporting or opposing the situation).

Conclusion: Summarise your main points without additional arguments—just the highlights.

After completing the interview, I think the best way to prepare is to have friends or family throw random questions at you (without advance notice) and try to answer them within a 4-minute time limit, on the spot trying to stick to the structure.

Hi @Higham,

It's great to see that you have applied for our Veterinary Medicine programme! This is a particularly busy period and we receive a lot of applications but please be assured that our admissions teams are working hard to process applications and they will respond as soon as possible with an update.

If you have any questions at all, do let me know 😊

Best wishes ^Sarah

Having done the interview would you say theres anything specific i should prepare? I received an email saying they’ll assess attributes like empathy, critical-thinking and problem-solving. I’ve been preparing answers for personal attributes but unsure on how to prepare the critical thinking and problem solving based questions. Thank you!
