Direct Transfer

Hello guys, I’m really thinking of transferring unis. It’s not that my course is bad, it’s not my favourite (originally applied for different course). In addition to that fact i probably would have preferred a larger city with more nightlife, which is the one I’m thinking of moving to. What do you guys think?

have you read the University Transfer FAQ? https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1781424
You don't have a huge amount of time to get a reference and submit your UCAS application if this is something that you'd like to have as an option

Hang on so is that if you want to reapply? I was more thinking of a year here and directly transferring to a different uni based on credits from my modules.

Yeah that’s if you want to drop out and start from first year again

You apply to another university through UCAS whether you're applying for year 1 or year 2 entry

No it isn't
You will need to apply via UCAS for direct entry onto year 2, you would of needed to have passed year 1 with 120 credits in the same subject that you are applying for. - JD
