any good philosophy books to reccomend

hi ! im very interested in philosophy and i want to do a degree in it, i am really interested in like ethics, moral and social philosophy and i want to read some books related to that. Any recs ??? :smile:

Hiya!! In terms of moral and social philosophy, here are a some books with different perspectives: Utilitarianism (JSM), Practical ethics (Peter Singer), Ethics - inventing right and wrong (J.L. Mackie), The Prince (Machiavelli), Thus spoke Zarathustra (Nietzsche) and the Nicomachean Ethics (Aristotle).
Sorry if this is a bad list, it’s what came to mind!

Hahaha, I know about Richard Dawkins and funnily enough I have read the Myth of Sisyphus for my English Literature NEA and it's a lot but very interesting ofc. and I know about the Second Sex by de Beauvoir from sociology and its so interesting and i lowkey love it !
