Ca I go to a Russell group uni?

Can I get into a Russell group uni with the subjects that I have I'm currently doing history psychology and textiles (ill be switching textiles to Art in a few days). I'm worried because only 1 out of 3 of my a levels is a facilitating subject. I'm not aiming of oxbridge in fact I'm looking towards a more creative path like fashion, film or marketing. But if I do have a change in heart is it possible for me to be able to study something like history psychology and even law at a Russell group uni?

Of course! As long as the course at the uni doesn't require a specific A level and you meet the grades. I know many people who did subjects like yours and got into Russel group.

You're welcome! A friend of mine did geography, sociology and art (1 facilitating subject) and got into uni of Birmingham and I did Spanish, chemistry and maths (3 facilitating subjects) and didn't get into any Russel groups because my grades were pretty bad 😅 so don't worry about what subjects you're taking (unless the course requires a certain A level). Just focus on getting those grades and you'll be fine

Thank you so much ☺️
Just to confirm that facilitating subjects haven’t been a thing for years now.

There’s only ‘essential’ and (much less often) ‘preferred’. Both will be listed on the unis website if there are any.
