Im currently doing a levels and want to progress into finance and eventually become a part of the ACCA but what unis should i be considering, that are the best for these courses, and what degree/degree apprenticeship should i take?

Hi, 2nd year finance and banking student here. I’m going to be completely honest here, for the ACCA you don’t need a degree at all! Now, when you say progress into finance, that is very vague, as there are many jobs in finance that do require a degree and ones that don’t. Such as a sports stats, portfolio management, investment banking etc all these do require you to have a undergrad degree or higher. But for an accountant, you don’t need a degree at all, same as a mortgage advisor, you only need a CMap qualification, which doesn’t require a degree at all. So my advice to you would be, find a few job roles and consider do I need a degree for this? Or would doing going into the workforce better me for this potential position? Hope this helps, if you require more assistance don’t be afraid to respond.
