Make a Day of your Open Day in Liverpool

Hey all, with it being Open Day season, and just ahead of Liverpool Hope University's Open Day on the Saturday 16th November, I just thought I'd share some ideas of what you can do to Make a Day of your Open Day in Liverpool!

Firstly! Make sure you attend the Open Day as a priority - these are just suggestions of what you can do if you spend the whole day or even overnight in Liverpool!! Speaking of the Open Day, near Liverpool Hope University's main campus, Hope Park, there are some nice cafes and restaurants worth checking out just a quick walk away from campus on Woolton Road and in the Childwall area more broadly!

Liverpool is a beautiful city full of fun, culture and music - make sure to experience the atmosphere of the city centre - from the Albert Dock, Liverpool ONE, to Liverpool Hope University's very own beautiful and homely Creative Campus.

For food, the go to place in the city is Bold Street, which has a diverse range of gorgeous cuisine on and around the street, including Renshaw Food Market just opposite, near the iconic Bombed Out Church! Also nearby, Concert Square, Matthew Street and Castle Street all offer a vibrant daylife and nightlife with many pubs and bars to have a look at if that's your cup of tea!!

A little out from the city centre, in Aigburth, is Lark Lane - just a quick and regular train out from Liverpool Central to St Michaels - which I would argue is THE place for a good bit of time with mates, where there are so many bars and restaurants to choose from. Just down the road from there is Sefton Park, a lovely spot for afternoon walks! While your at it, check out Liverpool Hope's Aigburth Accommodation Campus - an affordable accommodation campus with good quick and easy links to the city.

No matter what you end up doing on your Open Day I hope you really get a feel for Liverpool and see you soon!
