I also had my interview today, and I was notified a week or two ago - don't worry though, like the person above said they're probably just doing it in sections. They said I'd only be notified of results in February so there's a lot of time left.

Everyone that applies before the January 25th deadline will be considered equally. This means they may well not complete their interview invites until after that deadline.

They pick a topic in your personal statement that interests them and they know they can link into what they want to ask you about

When I applied in 2023 they were about a month later than they said, so it is a long wait. Just know they do give out a decent number of offers, I think it's 50% of those invited to interview get an offer, it is getting the grades that is the hardest thing.
As long as you seem like you like chemistry, have read some books (even the same ones that everyone reads) or something similar, you should be fine. Best of luck though

They have a lot of interviews to do so its natural you have not heard back. Ive done my interview but my friends from my school who also applied have not heard back yet so just sit tight.

I have my interview for chem in a week. Don't worry though about not having heard back though, I think they do interviews up until february. Also, did anyone else apply to oxford and get declined an interview :frown:

anyone who already has their interview, in how much detail do they ask about your PS? I'm trying to do a Q&A in preparation for interviews but I don't know if I need to go quite in depth or just answer some basic questions
