I’m looking to start sport exercise science at Bath in September. What are the hours like? I struggle sat down for long periods of time if anyone has a rough idea of how many hours might be in the classroom during the day that would be great! Also, example timetables would be appreciated.

Hi there! Great to hear that you're interested in studying at Bath! The course is designed with a mix of laboratory sessions, lectures, practical sessions, seminars, tutorials and workshops. Typically, you can expect around 15-17 hours of contact time per week in your first year. Hopefully this mix of activities will help if you prefer not being seated for long stretches. Plus, Bath has amazing sports facilities if you need to get active between classes. There’s more information on the course structure here.
Unfortunately, I can’t give specific information on what your timetable will look like as I don’t study this course, but you can contact a sports and exercise science student through Unibuddy. They should be able to give good insight into the typical day of a student studying your course.
Hope this helps, and feel free to reach out with any more questions
