Studying in America

Hi so I’m looking for a bit of advice. I’m currently 18 and finished college this year, I decided uni wasn’t for me so went and got a job, however I’ve had a change of heart and decided that I actually do really want to do some further education. Here’s my issue…

I’m wanting to study in America but not sure if I want to commit to a minimum of 4 year course out there and did some research and found they offer shorter courses or options to attend for a year as an exchange student. Could someone help advise me on how to go about this and what programmes to look at I have no idea where to even start!!

I hope that all makes sense and would love any advice on how to go about studying at a university in America
The cost of university study in the US is high. In the UK you usually pay less than the real cost of tuition. Repaying a student loan in the UK is not a big deal, but it can be a big deal in the US.

An exchange course usually depends on you being at a UK educational organisation to start with.
As above, International fees, living costs and travel will cost ££££ - do you have access to this sort of money.
A UK degree with a study abroad year would be more accessible -American Studies, undergraduate courses : University of Sussex
