Transgender info on UCAS application
I'm transgender, currently in the closet to my parents and school, will they see if I've selected 'Yes' that I'm transgender on the UCAS application?
I don't have another name I prefer so I'm not concerned about something like that being seen. It's just about the 'Gender' option in the Personal Details section, and the Diversity and Inclusion section.

Your school and parents won’t see this information. It is only passed on to your universities who should be aware and sensitive to applicants who are trans and who may still be in the closet. It’s very common for students to only come out once they start university and aren’t reliant on their parents for housing.
