Hello everyone,
I’m currently in the middle of my CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) application for a UK Student Visa and facing an issue with bank statements. My bank is DBS, based in Singapore, and they only generate statements every month. My funds have been in the account and started maturing from October 15, 2024 onwards. However, due to the monthly statement cycle, I’m unable to obtain an official interim statement or snapshot that fully shows the required maintenance period to date.
BCU (Birmingham City University) requires a specific set of financial documents, and I'm worried about meeting the CAS application criteria without interim statements. While I can obtain a DBS financial statement showing that I’ve maintained the minimum balance for 28 days, it’s not considered an official bank statement.
Has anyone else faced a similar issue with banks or found any workarounds? Any advice on managing this situation with the university’s requirements or alternative documentation would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
