I studied at UWE and we were given a two day window, only to be used if we ABSOLUTELY had to (and had to provide evidence) so it wasn’t abused (it was a carry over from COVID which hadn’t been removed yet) as by definition, if our deadline was say the 1st of the month, the window to submit would be open until the 3rd without cap. Thing is, if we used it just once without evidence/reason (loss of work did not count), if we requested a reference from the uni, it would state “cannot stick to deadlines”.
I did a quick Google search and found a late submission from, I don’t know if it is still relevant but it appears you must give reasoning in writing?
