mental health nursing

hello. as my back up option im looking to go into mental health nursing. is it worth going into the profession, is it rewarding and is the pay good? im also looking to go to the University of Hertfordshire to do it or i might just do an apprenticeship with them depending on how it goes. i heard that you can do a nursing apprenticeship with the Open University as well but i doubt many employers offer them. do you know the application process for a mental health nursing degree apprenticeship? i know what its like to do an application for regular uni but not for a degree apprenticeship. thanks.

Decent career choice , I been lucky in comparison to my friends as I have always had a stable job even in the pandemic. It’s rewarding in the sense where you see the patient is improving in mental state to be able to go back to there routine so the Recovery side.

Always options to maximise money through unsocial hours ( weekends and nights) due to lack of staff.

I dont know the application process for apprenticeships but i think it’s 4 years and some NHS may pick through secondment if work as a HCA theres usually like a practice development nurse that shares this info.
