primary education QTS interview help!!
I've just received interviews from Cardiff met, Winchester, UWE and Bedfordshire. I could really do with some advice on interviews for Primary Education with a QTS. They are all online (except from Winchester) so not sure how it will work online? I really want to do well at Winchester as it's my top choice, and as it's in person any advice would help please!!

Congratulations on securing those interviews, that is a great achievement!
If you haven't already got an adviser with The Get Into Teaching Service, I would recommend signing up for one asap! They will help you with all of your interview preparation and provide support and advice.

Hello there,
I hope you are well.
The online interview will last about 30 - 40 minutes. They would like to know how and why you applied to the Primary Education with QTS and see if you are suitable to study the course. The interviewer will ask some questions based on your personal statement and the work experience you have. We would recommend you prepare yourself on personal experiences / extra curricular interests that could contribute to enriching children's learning, how to become an effective teacher etc.

When are they? Did u have to wait long after u submitted ur UCAS form b4 u heard from unis?

Hi, I’m applying for primary education too. I’ve applied to UWE and Winchester (also my top choice) as well as Reading, Brighton and Oxford Brookes. I’ve just heard back from UWE today for an interview, when yours and have they given you any information for it yet. Also how long did it take you to hear back from Winchester?

my UWE one is next wednesday! They sent me an email about information. when’s yours? Winchester took about 2 days to get back to me after i submitted my ucas. Well done! x
