made a mistake on pff2 form SFE

Accidentally said my mother makes private pension contributions and put a value that is actually given to her workplace pension. I’ve been asked to give evidence but have just figured out my mistake. How do i change this and how much longer will it take to be means tested?

Hi,
I hope you are well!🙂

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your student finance. I wouldn't like to comment on your situation, but perhaps @Student Finance England may be able to direct you on here about this.

I would definitely suggest contacting Student Finance about your specific situation, contact information can be found here!

I hope this helps, and you get your issue sorted soon!🙂

Hi there,

We'd recommend uploading a cover letter (signed and dated) to your account, just confirming that you made a mistake, and it's just a standard workplace pension.

In terms of how long this will take, has your application been approved yet?

Thanks, Graeme

Thank you for the reply! My application has been approved but I have only opted to be means tested for bursary purposes and haven’t asked for a maintenance loan or tuition fees

Hi there,

Did you need to send a Maintenance Loan Request form to say you want zero for the Maintenance Loan and a Non-Means to Means tested form? Did your sponsor complete the PFF2 form?

Thanks, Drew

I did this all in august but was then informed later that the pff2 form also needed my mothers info not just my dad as my financial sponsor. so i sent the second pff2 form around october 16th and have now just sent in my cover letter confirming i made a mistake about my mother’s private pensions. I know it takes around 6-8 weeks to process evidence so would it also take that long to acknowledge the cover letter i sent in recently?
Thank you

Hi qwwrty,

The cover letter will be around 21 working days to review.

Thanks,
Calum
