transferring uni and course??

hii, I'm in 1st year studying at a uni for biology but after doing research (like I should've done originally) I feel like I want to midwifery. the thing is my uni doesn't do midwifery so if I were to transfer it would be for both the course and uni. is it possible to do this? do I then need to fill out a ucas application? If I do who would my references be??

Yes you need a UCAS application to switch to a new university.

Ideally your current university tutor would provide your reference. Have a chat with them asap to let them know that you want to apply elsewhere for midwifery and ask if they can provide you with a UCAS reference.

Applying elsewhere for next September doesn’t commit you to leaving your current course. You can finish the year (and get an early exit qualification usually).

Do you have any relevant work-experience for Midwifery?
