Clinical placement and rent problem

Hi
I am studying a clinical degree which means clinical placements! but i have an issue - i have been given a 2 month placement away from where i am living now. i am currently renting so now i am gonna have to pay the 2 month rent and associated bills even though i won't be home. does anyone know what the best solution is?

Are you studying in the UK? Is hospital accommodation available?

If I were you, I'd either try to speak with my landlord about it, or I'd look for someone else to move in for the 2 months and make them pay the rent- even if it is not all the rent. Tricky situation you're in and I wish you the best of luck with however it shakes out. 👍️

yes i am moving to a relative's house which is very close to the placement so accomodation during placement is fine im just concerned about the rent and bills for the place im living now :frown:
