A level english lit help (year 13)

Background: I do AQA, and these texts: Measure for Measure, The Great Gatsby, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Help, Ariel by Sylvia Plath

So, I’m not terrible at English. I do enjoy it a lot but I find myself stuck at band 4 answers and the middle part of a B grade.

I’m just wondering what I need to do to stand out and make my essays up to the A* mark. (Im predicted an A) I know that is aspirational but it is a goal of mine!

I will gladly take any advice

That really depends on what your work looks like at the moment. If you feel comfortable uploading a sample of your work and linking to it, we could have a look. (Without your name on it, of course!)

But your first port of call should be your teacher. Have they given you much feedback, and what was it? Have you asked them what you need to do to raise your marks? If not then you should.
