When do you start paying back your student loan if you left your course early

I saw somewhere that you only start paying your student loan off on the first April after you graduate and if you are earning over £25000 for ones who started September 2023 onwards. If you left your course and obviously don’t graduate, is it the first April after you leave your course or are you liable to pay automatically? Thanks

See https://www.gov.uk/repaying-your-student-loan/when-you-start-repaying - essentially it’s the April after you leave your course, whether or not you graduate.

It is usually the April after you graduate or leave a course. However, for the new plan 5 loan introduced in Sep 2023, no repayments will be taken until April 2026 even if you leave early.
