Hi,
I want to study history at university, and I’m currently taking History, English lit and Biology.
But, I’m really worried because I keep seeing people who have taken the combo of History, English lit and Politics, and I didn’t take politics because (even though I like political history) I didn’t really enjoy studying current affairs, found the idea of keeping up with the news stressful, so decided it wasn’t for me. I took biology because I like it, enjoyed sciences at GCSE, like the history of science/medicine and value the transferable skills (e.g problem solving, team work in practicals)
But, now I’m really worried i should’ve done politics because I probably would’ve been good at it and would’ve been more relevant. Will people taking History, English and Politics be taken over me?
I would really appreciate it cause I’m really stressed.
