Is it ok to apply for Russell unis that require AAA but your prediction is AAB and this is for a law degree ??!

If your question is "will I obtain an offer of a place even though my predicted grades are below those required by the university's standard offer", the answer is "it depends". Do you have any contextual or mitigating factors? Universities which ask for AAA for law tend to be over-subscribed and may, in most cases, reject an applicant who is predicted to obtain AAB, but they may make an offer to such an applicant for various individual reasons. You should in any event apply to at least one university which usually requires AAB. Good luck!

Unless contextual, this is risky and will depend on a number of factors. Law is highly competitive, but it will be easier in less competitive RUs compared to ones like Oxbridge/LSE/UCL. Second, depends if the university demand LNAT. If they do, then they have something else to consider apart from your prediction, but if they do not, then you may not have another redeeming aspect. Generally, just look at past statistics and see which unis are more likely to nonetheless accept you. You still stand a chance, just in some Russell Group unis.
