Changing university course during 1st term of 1st year

Hi,

After some advice.
I started a BSc Criminology and Psychology degree in September 2024 and I have now (as of Thursday 14th November) changed course to BSc Criminology and Policing at the same university and same course length (3 years).
My first payment of tuition fee as well as maintenance loan have already been paid.
Do I need to let SFE know of the change or does my uni need to?
Also, will my payment be affected in any way given nothing has changed except the course name?

Hi Mimi,

We would need the university to notify us and send us over a 'change of circumstance' to update the course details. Once received, this takes 24 working days to update on the system for you. Thanks, Jason
