Should I take med?

So I’m thinking about applying for medicine and I’m wondering if it’ll be worth the stress.
A levels is already a bit too much for me but that’s largely being influenced by parental pressure and also other personal issues.
My parents always told me that once I complete (insert some important exam) it’s going to be a breeze and so much more enjoyable and fun and relaxing and free.
E.g. they said that I only had to get thru 2 yrs of GCSEs then I can relax. But then come a levels and they’re saying the same thing about uni. I know all uni degrees r hard but I feel life as a junior doctor would be too much for me- I don’t want to spend my life constantly looking forward just waiting for the time I can breathe again, yk?
i know this question is rlly subjective, but i jsut wanted to hear some of ur opinions

Yes, medicine is one of the most stressful careers you could possibly get into and med school is also no piece of cake.

Medicine is obviously very hard to get in to and even after the med school exams, there are many more, much much harder exams needed to go into the field you want to that you have to study for while working a full-time job.

The only thing that matters, however, is your reasoning for why you want to do medicine. If that is a reason enough to subject yourself to such conditions for the rest of your life, then go for it.

So what is your reason?
Why medicine?
Answer that then ask yourself if it is enough or not.
