Interview for PGCE primary at the university of Manchester

Hi, I have an online zoom interview for the University of Manchester and they have asked me to deliver a 5-minute* reading task which includes reading from a book of your choice that is interesting and relevant to children in any of the primary age range.
They have not said anything else in terms of questions I might get asked about why i want to do teaching etc and only asked me to prepare for explaining my choice of book.

Just wanted to ask if anyone else has had a similar interview and what else I need to do to prepare.

I have one tomorrow too and am thinking the same! I imagine also just preparing the usual why do you want to be a teacher questions :smile:

Hey, how did the interview go? I have mine tomorrow and starting to get nervous about it. Anything i need to know or any questions to be prepared for?

You may prepare to answer the following likely questions
Why do you want to be a teacher?
Why this age group and subject?
How would you go about trying to include different methods of teaching and learning in your lessons?
How would you make your subject interesting to less able pupils?
Why do you want to train here? etc...
