Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Thanks for your interest in studying with us! It really depends what you mean by worth it; is it employability that you're wondering about? Or what the student experience is like? I'd be happy to chat about any questions you might have or direct you towards current students you can contact.

If you're struggling with deciding where to apply, I would recommend having a look around this site for students of each of the unis you have offers from to see what the general consensus is.
It's also worth thinking about the cities and what appeals to you. Do you want to be close to or far away from home, do you want to be in a big or small city, are there things/places in that city that you're interested in or will be good for any hobbies you have; those sorts of factors should definitely be on your mind as well as the actual courses of each of the universities.

I hope this information has been useful and do let us know if you want to discuss anything further!

Hi there thanks for your response I am curious about applying for the Real Estate Aberdeen University and wanted to learn more about its employability prospects and overall value.

Could you please provide information on the following:

What are the typical career paths or roles that graduates of this course pursue?

Does the course include internships or work placement opportunities?

Are there strong connections with employers or industry professionals?

Is the course accredited by RICS or other professional bodies?

What is the graduate employment rate and average starting salary for students from this program?

How does the university ensure the course remains relevant to current industry trends?

Additionally, I would appreciate any examples of alumni success stories or details about networking opportunities provided during the course.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look

Hello, my sincere apologies for not getting back to you on this until now! I'll try and get you some answers as best as I can

For your questions about graduate prospects, employability, and industry links, I would advise you get in contact with our Careers and Employability Service who offer a range of services and have a lot of information on this sort of thing. You can email them on [email protected] and find more information on them here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/careers/
They have some information on internship opportunities here but it's not always a guaranteed part of your course: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/careers/jobs-work-experience/vacation-work-internships-placements.php

Our Real Estate courses are indeed accredited by the RICS and accreditation information is listed on the course pages which can be viewed here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/degree-programmes/?q=real+estate&view=detailed

As for the course staying up to date, I don't have that information to hand. But our Business School do aim to ensure that graduates are aware of the current sector landscape and provide current examples in the course materials. If you would like more information about this you can get in contact with [email protected] and our Business School will be happy to advise you further.

And certainly, we have a great amount of information on our alumni and what they have gone on to do here: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/alumni/our-alumni/

I hope this is helpful, and again my sincere apologies that it was so belated. If you have any more questions for me about the university please just ask and I'll be happy to advise further!
