UCL economics 2025

I am applying to UCL with A*A*A predicted ( maths, economics and further maths ), but most successful candidates apply with 3A*s predicted. I don’t want to sound silly, but does anyone think this makes a huge difference? I realise that UCL is very competitive so I am trying to make the best decision, thanks.

Your application will be less competitive compared to those with an A* in Further Maths, but if UCL is just one of your options you have some less competitive options to apply to then you might as well apply anyway, because there's a chance you can get a place and you don't lose anything from trying and finding out.
