English Mock A Level

I just had an English mock and the question was 'Explore how change is presented in 'On This Day I Completed My Thirty Sixth Year' by Byron and one other poem of your choice' I chose change and talked about the lack of change and the need for it, I chose London by William Blake, after I got out the exam my teacher told me this wasn't a good choice as he doesn't talk about change, I disagree though, was it the wrong choice?
There is never a wrong choice in English lit, if you can talk about and justify what you chose you did the right thing. Talking about lack of change and need for it and connecting it to London was a good call. If you said enough, I'm sure you'll be fine. I also chose London by W.B. for both my mock and final GCSE.
