Hi! so i've been offered an unconditional place to study law in Edinburgh in 2025, and im a scottish student however im not going to be living in accom but rather commuting. Is it harder to make friends? im just quite nervous about it because none of my freinds from school are going to Edinburgh and i just want to make sure i wont have a totally hard time connecting with others. If anyone else has also been accepted please also reply as i will be looking for freinds LOL

I don't go to Edinburgh but I do commute to university and also do Law and I find the only way to kind of make friends is talk to people in your seminars and tutorials, or meet peopele in any law-related opportunities you find yourself taking, whether that be in-person events or virtual webinars.
Hi sorry for not answering your question directly but if you don't mind me asking what your grades were to receive an unconditional from Edinburgh. Thanks 🙂

I have a conditional offer to study physics for 2025. I stayed with my friend's sibling at edinburgh last year and it seemed really easy to find people you get along with across lots of different subjects!
